Festival “With Marko in the streets”

We developed the full visual identity, content strategy, and production for this multidisciplinary festival that reimagines cultural heritage through contemporary art and media. The project reintroduced a legendary local figure as an urban symbol, using video, design, and storytelling to connect generations.

"With Marko in the streets" is a cultural festival born from the intersection of modern technology, contemporary artistic practices, and the need to reactivate heritage through new lenses. The concept reinterprets emblematic local figures, particularly Marko – a complex, folkloric character deeply rooted in the cultural memory of Prilep and the wider Balkan region.
 

Our production team designed the festival’s visual language and creative platform, focusing on multimedia presentation, visual storytelling, and strategic branding. The festival positions Marko not just as a historic myth, but as an urban cultural icon — intelligent yet uneducated, stylish yet folkloric, local yet multilingual. His image, stories, and legacy are recontextualized to speak directly to new generations in a language they understand: digital, creative, and interactive.
 

By using the tools of contemporary production: video, photography, event design, and content creation, we helped transform heritage into an experience. A project that’s not only nostalgic, but current, inclusive, and narratively subversive.
