What started as a shared vision became a creative movement
3rd Sector Production didn’t begin with equipment or a business plan – it began with a question:
“What if we could tell stories that truly matter?”
Our journey started in 2018, when a small group of creatives, cultural workers, and storytellers began collaborating on independent projects across North Macedonia and the Western Balkans. What connected us wasn’t just our craft; it was a shared drive to give voice to ideas, communities, and expressions that often remain unheard.
In 2021, after years of building trust, experimenting, and delivering powerful cultural content, we formalized our collaboration as 3rd Sector Production. This wasn't just a step toward professionalization – it was a commitment to integrity, artistry, and impact.
We’ve grown project by project, idea by idea, always grounded in the belief that creativity is a civic tool and that meaningful production doesn’t need to be loud – it needs to be honest, intentional, and well-crafted.
From local initiatives to international collaborations, our roots remain deep in the cultural soil, always focused on elevating the voices that deserve to be seen and heard.
